Andrew Hill

February 1974. Andrew Hill who was only 10 years old at the time, flew  a McBroom Arion at Wittenham Clumps.  The glider was a 50% scaled down model made from a set of Geoff' Mcbrooms plans with no kingpost.  It had a 10ft leading edge and a very small 'A' frame. Andrew was the son of Roy Hill, who went on to become president of the BHGA for a few years.
