The Splitwing
The Mk I Splitwing ridge soaring 1974 or 1975 at Brasted, Kent on the Northdowns.
The Mk I had the jib in front of the Main, with the hang point between the two, so it could be classed as a canard.
The Mk2 flying the small slope at Canada Heights near Swanley, Kent Circa 1975 -76.
In the Mk2 the jib overlapped the main which had inbuilt reflex so was more of an interactive wing.
Again the Mk2 flying the small slope at Canada Heights near Swanley, Kent Circa 1975 -76.
The Mk3 date around 1976-77
The Mk III, again overlapped as a close coupled wing.
The Mk4 has not been completed, but also has considerable overlap. It is one of those projects that I have started but can never seem to find the time to finish.
